Attention Customers: Floating Center Caps Installation Issue

We want to address a common issue some customers have encountered with our floating center caps. Although these caps work correctly when received, they may not float as intended once installed on the wheels.

Possible Cause:

The floating center caps may be slightly larger (1-2mm) than standard center caps, which can cause them to fit too tightly. This tight fit may prevent them from floating properly. Additionally, if they are too loose, there is a risk that they will come off while driving.

Solution:

To resolve this issue, you can try the following steps:

Remove the Floating Center Caps from the wheels.
Grind Down the Cap: Using a grinding tool, carefully grind down the outer edges of the center cap. We recommend focusing on the clips/prongs where the cap attaches to the wheel, specifically in the red area we noted in the attached photo.
Test the Fit: After grinding, reinstall the caps to see if they float correctly.

Typically, there are several clips on the caps that you can modify to achieve the best fit. Adjusting these clips should help the caps install correctly and float as designed.

Thank you for your understanding, and please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions or concerns!
